Member of the steering committee of Iran's main student union, the Office for the Consolidation of Unity. - Worked for Sobheh Emrouz, Bahar, Doraneh Emrouz, Bonyan, Nowruz, Yaseh No, and Vagahyeh Etefaghiyeh Held in Evin prison. 28 Jan 2009: Arrested at Tehran airport and sent to Evin 18 Feb 2009: Released on bail of 100 million Toman Tried in absentia on charges of charges of propaganda against the state, participating in illegal gatherings & insulting state leaders. Sentenced to 4 years and 74 lashes and new additional charges have now been threatened. Razavi Faqih denies all charges and has demanded a retrial where he can be afforded a chance to defend himself.
