Professor of International Relations and PhD student at Tarbiat-Modarres University in Tehran. Member of the steering committee of Iran's main student union, the Office for the Consolidation of Unity. - Worked for Sobheh Emrouz, Bahar, Doraneh Emrouz, Bonyan, Nowruz, Yaseh No, Roozonline and Vagahyeh Etefaghiyeh Held in Evin prison. 28 Jan 2009: Arrested at Tehran airport upon arrival and sent to Evin 18 Feb 2009: Released on bail of 100 million Toman Tried in absentia on charges of charges of propaganda against the state, participating in illegal gatherings & insulting state leaders. Sentenced to 4 years and 74 lashes and new additional charges have now been threatened. Razavi Faqih denies all charges and has demanded a retrial where he can be afforded a chance to defend himself. Sentence reduced by Appeals to 1 year 17 Jan 2012: Arrested in the airport when coming back from France 09 Feb 2012: Released 05 Mar 2014: Arrested because of a speech delivered in Hamadan 06 Mar 2014: Transferred to Rejaei Shahr 23 Apr 2014: On hunger strike to protest Black Thursday 24 Apr 2014: Shaves his head in solidarity with prisoners in Evin 350 30 Apr 2014 Ends his hunger strike 21 Jan 15: Sent to hospital 07 Feb 15: Back to prison without finishing treatment
